Welcome to WebKrib.com! We offer website hosting without imposing advertisments on our users' websites. All we ask in return is that you follow a few simple rules. So please be sure you have read, and understood, these Terms and Conditions. Please note, we have a Zero-Tolerance policy for any site that negatively affects our hosting community. Members who violate rules that are clearly laid out in our policy documents could find their entire web site removed and/or deleted, possibly without prior notice. The interpretation of these guidelines is at the sole discretion of WebKrib.com:

General Rules

  1. You must provide a valid email address
  2. Free domains extensions like .CO.CC, .CZ.CC, .CO.NR, .UNI.CC, .TK, .EU.ORG etc. are not supported by our webhosting service and will be automatically removed without any prior notice.
  3. WebKrib.com is not responsible for the content of any personal home page, nor do the opinions or ideas expressed in user-generated web pages necessarily reflect those of WebKrib.com. The contents of user-generated web pages are not reviewed or censored in any way before they appear on WebKrib.com
  4. You may not use your web space to provide material, or links to material, that is grossly offensive to the Web community. This includes:
    • Blatant expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred, or profanity
    • Promotion or display of instructional information supporting illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to, instructions for the building or use of weapons, propagation of "spam" email and/or computer viruses, or any material that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties
    • Promotion of physical harm or injury against any group or individual
  5. You may not password protect any link provided on any of your pages located on the WebKrib.com server
  6. Your Web Pages may not contain, nor contain links to, any of the following:
    • Topsites
    • IRC Scripts/Bots
    • Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers
    • Image Hosting Scripts (similar to Photobucket or Tinypic)
    • AutoSurf/PTC/PTS/PPC sites
    • IP Scanners
    • Bruteforce Programs/Scripts/Applications
    • Mail Bombers/Spam Scripts
    • Banner-Ad services (commercial banner ad rotation)
    • File Dump/Mirror Scripts (similar to rapidshare)
    • Commercial Audio Streaming (more than one or two streams)
    • Escrow/Bank Debentures
    • High-Yield Interest Programs (HYIP) or Related Sites
    • Investment Sites (FOREX, E-Gold Exchange, Second Life/Linden Exchange, Ponzi, MLM/Pyramid Scheme)
    • Sale of any controlled substance without prior proof of appropriate permit(s)
    • Prime Banks Programs
    • Lottery Sites
    • MUDs/RPGs/PBBGs
    • Hateful/Racist/Harassment oriented sites
    • Hacker focused sites/archives/programs
    • Sites promoting illegal activities
    • Forums and/or websites that distribute or link to warez/pirated/illegal content
    • Bank Debentures/Bank Debenture Trading Programs
    • Fraudulent Sites (Including, but not limited to sites listed at aa419.org & escrow-fraud.com)
    • Mailer Pro
    • Pornography or "adult" content.
    • PTC (Paid to Click) sites.
    • Child pornography, obscene material, bestiality and pictures that you don't have the right to publish.
    • Hate propaganda
    • Anything illegal including, but not limited to, illegal software, warez or hacked software, serial numbers, top-sites, mail fraud, or pyramid schemes
    • Material insulting, or that could be considered defamatory or libelous, to other persons, institutions or companies
    • Material that exploits children
    • Material which attempts to collect personal information about users
    • Materials infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties (including, but not limited to, trademarks, domain names, personality rights, names of individuals, publicity rights, logos, graphics, designs, films, and music), those which allow the circumvention of revenue rightfully due to a manufacturer for the sale of a product or the disabling of installed copy protected devices, and all other forms of cracker utilities, are strictly forbidden
  7. You may not use unsolicited email to promote your site
  8. We do not allow frames.
  9. WebKrib.com reserves the right to block or delete any site due to inappropriate behavior by the webmaster towards WebKrib.com, its staff or its users, which has been validated on public or private forums
  10. You may not copy or reproduce any page, image or other content without the express prior consent of the original copyright owner of that content
  11. If you are 13 years of age or under you may not become a member of WebKrib.com. The protection of children's online privacy is very important to The WebKrib.com Network. For that reason, it is our policy not to collect or maintain information at our web sites from those we actually know are under 13 and no part of our web sites are structured to attract anyone under 13.

The Resource Usage Policy is in place to protect the QoS (Quality of Service) for every customer and the hosting service as a whole. In a shared hosting environment resources are shared between all sites hosted on each hosting server. Individual sites are not allowed to over utilize or "usurp" server resources in such a manner that negatively impacts the QoS for other customers. Keep in mind, these rules are not actively enforced or monitored, but are in place as a reference should an issue occur. Sites found to be affecting the QoS in a negative manner will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

General Rules

  1. Adult content of any sort is strictly prohibited
  2. All interactive chat web applications are strictly prohibited on WebKrib.com's servers. This includes, but is not limited to, chat applications written in PHP, Perl, CGI, etc. Any web application that provides 'real-time' chat (or any application), online radio etc. is not permitted. Shoutboxes, Chatboxes and other web based chat programs other than those specifically provided by WebKrib.com are prohibited.
  3. Stats programs and scripts are forbidden as are any site(s) that exist solely to gather stats and data from other sites, databases, games, servers or any other source.
  4. Web applications that are out of date and actively being exploited will be shut down immediately without prior notice
  5. (SEO) farms, search engine spiders/indexers or similar are strictly forbidden on WebKrib.com's networks
  6. Banner and link exchanges are not permitted
  7. File and image hosting is not permitted
  8. Offering free hosting and free email hosting is not permitted
  9. Absolutely no proxy scripts, rapidshare/rapidleech scripts, torrent trackers, bittorrent or any other script that uses unfair resources is allowed
  10. Hate sites, hacking/hacker related sites, sites promoting illegal activity,hacking tools, mail bombing or spam scripts, or forums and web sites that distribute or promote warez content are expressly forbidden
  11. Game servers, muds and online RPGs, gambling web sites are forbidden on our networks

Resource Restrictions

  1. Processes may not use more than 32 MB of RAM
  2. Processes may not take longer than 20 seconds to execute
  3. Processes may not create core-dumps
  4. You may not run more than 10 simultaneous processes on your account
  5. Processes may not "fork" or spawn sub-processes
  6. Bots, services, daemons or any other program that listens on a particular port or ports are strictly forbidden
  7. Each MySQL user is limited to 15 concurrent connections
  8. There is a limit of 1500 MySQL queries per hour
  9. Remote database connections are not permitted for administrating a database (from or to). You may not access a database hosted on WebKrib.com's servers from a remote script or program
  10. HTTP connections may not exceed 50 simultaneous connections from a single IP
  11. There is an 10 MB attachment limit on emails
  12. Hosting accounts are limited to sending 60 emails per hour
  13. POP3 email accounts may not be "polled" more than 60 times per hour
  14. Mailing lists and mailing list software are forbidden
  15. Direct SMTP mailing scripts are forbidden, you may only send mail through the SMTP software installed on the server, using sendmail or connecting via SMTP
  16. Any sort of spam is forbidden

Enforcement

These resource usage policies are actively monitored. In the event that a site is found to be negatively affecting the quality of service, these rules will be enforced. Sites in violation of any provision of this document, or otherwise deemed by WebKrib.com staff to be using excessive resources, may be disabled or suspended. The site owner will be notified and required to take steps to correct the cause of any issues. Sites found in violation of a major rule (adult or illegal content) will be suspended and possibly terminated at our sole discretion.

LEGAL TERMS

You, as the author of your pages, take full responsibility for their contents. As the author you state your pages contain nothing illegal, obscene, pornographic, degrading or abusive to another person and that none of your pages promote hate group propaganda or child pornography. As the author, you also state that nothing on your page is copyrighted material and that any links to other servers have been approved by that organization. As the author, you also state that nothing on your pages infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. You agree that WebKrib.com has the right to remove any page it determines, at its sole discretion, has violated these rules and that they may cancel your membership and take whatever action against you they deem appropriate, including legal action and disclosing information about you to law enforcement authorities and other interested third parties. Members who are in breach of these rules agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebKrib.com for any loss, claim, damage and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from, or in connection with, the contents of any personal home pages or of any chat or messages on a bulletin board found to be infringing or illegal. By submitting your pages, you agree to all the above terms.

WebKrib.com makes no guarantee as to availability of service. To the fullest extent permissible by law, WebKrib.com excludes all liability with respect to accuracy, content or availability of information on its web site. The materials in this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. WebKrib.com does not warrant that the function contained in the materials available on this web site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Any merchandise products or services available to users or members from links from this web site are provided by third parties who are not necessarily affiliated or connected with WebKrib.com. To the fullest extent permissible by law, WebKrib.com excludes all liability under any circumstances (including negligence) for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site. Applicable laws may not apply to all those who access the web site.
